The AP Psychology exam score is calculated using the following formula:

Final Score = (Multiple Choice Score + Free Response Score) * (1 + Curve / 100)

Variables:

  • Final Score is your overall AP score after applying the curve.
  • Multiple Choice Score is the raw score from the multiple-choice section.
  • Free Response Score is the raw score from the free-response section.
  • Curve is the percentage adjustment based on the difficulty of the exam.
