Trade Value Calculation Formula
The following formula is used to calculate the total trade value.
Total Trade Value = Player Value + Draft Pick Value + Future Pick Value + Prospect Value
Variables:
- Total Trade Value is the combined value of all assets involved in the trade ($)
- Player Value is the estimated value of the player(s) being traded ($)
- Draft Pick Value is the estimated value of the draft pick(s) being traded ($)
- Future Pick Value is the estimated value of future draft pick(s) being traded ($)
- Prospect Value is the estimated value of any prospects being traded ($)
To calculate the total trade value, add the values of the players, draft picks, future picks, and prospects involved in the trade. This will give you an overall estimate of the trade’s worth.
