MapleStory Accuracy Calculator
Ever wondered if you have enough Accuracy (ACC) to consistently hit that tough boss or pesky monster in MapleStory? This calculator helps you estimate your hit chance based on common game mechanics.
Understanding Accuracy in MapleStory
In MapleStory, your character’s Accuracy (ACC) stat is pitted against a monster’s Evasion (sometimes called Avoidability). Your respective levels also play a crucial role in determining if your attacks will land or miss.
- Higher Accuracy is Better: The more ACC you have, the better your chances of hitting.
- Level Difference Matters:
- If your character’s level is lower than the monster’s, you’ll need significantly more ACC to compensate for a level penalty.
- If your character’s level is higher than the monster’s, you’ll find it easier to hit, effectively getting an ACC bonus against that monster.
- Monster Evasion: Monsters with high Evasion are naturally harder to hit and require more ACC from your character.
This calculator uses a common formula model: your base hit chance is 100%. This is then adjusted by the difference between your character’s ACC and the monster’s “effective” evasion (which considers level differences). The result is then capped (e.g., typically between 5% and 100%).
Rough Concept: Hit Chance % ≈ 100% + (Your ACC – Monster’s Effective Evasion)
(Specific level penalties/bonuses are applied to monster’s effective evasion)
Keep in mind that exact formulas can vary slightly between different MapleStory versions or private servers. This tool provides a generally accepted estimation.
